Family and friends remember Mary as a beautiful soul, deeply devoted to her loved ones. She shared 70 years of marriage with her late husband Tim, and their bond was one of unbreakable love, so much so that they couldn’t bear to be apart for long. Mary was an adored mother to Timothy, Siobhan, Mark, Fiona, Colleen, Lorcan, and Ronan, and her grandchildren—Mary, Owen, Eleanor, James, Callum, Cara, Ellie, Timothy, Grace, and Elizabeth—will forever cherish the warmth and kindness she brought into their lives.
Throughout her life, Mary was known for her generosity and gentle nature, always opening her heart and home to others. Her neighbours and friends in Tramore remember her as someone who offered unwavering support and genuine compassion to all she encountered. For those fortunate enough to know Mary, her presence was a true blessing, filling every moment with warmth, joy, and unwavering comfort.

Mary passed peacefully at University Hospital Waterford surrounded by her loving family on Friday the 4th of October 2024 RIP.
Predeceased by her loving husband Timothy Cleary and brothers Jack and Billy Cosgrave.
Beloved wife of Timothy Cleary for 70 years, and adored mother of her children Timothy, Siobhan, Mark, Fiona, Colleen, Lorcan and Ronan, grandmother to Mary, Owen, Eleanor, James, Callum, Cara, Ellie, Timothy, Grace and Elizabeth.

Mary will be reposing at her residence In Beechmount X91F2W1, Tramore, Co. Waterford, on Thursday, the 10th of October, from 6pm to 7pm.

Mary’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, the 11th of October, at 10 am at The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, Co.Waterford. For those who wish to take part in Mary’s Requiem Mass remotely, please follow the link here.
At the conclusion of Mary’s Requiem mass there will be a light lunch provided. Details will be provided after the mass.
Mary will be laid to rest on Saturday the 12th of October at 2 pm in The Good Shepherd Cemetery, Gortnahoe, Co Tipperary. Family only.
Mary’s Funeral cortege will leave her residence at approximately 09:25 and walk from Tramore Credit Union/Lodges Corner at approximately 09:40am (weather permitting) to arrive for her Requiem Mass at 10am.
