Saint Anne’s Church in Cappoquin, a Church of Ireland structure, was built in the 1820s on land donated by Sir John Keane. Consecrated in 1820, it underwent several structural changes, including modifications to its spire and clock face over the centuries. Known for its modest scale and similar design to other First Fruits Board churches, Saint Anne’s features a three-stage entrance tower and retains much of its original character. Inside, it boasts decorative tiling, carved timber pews, and a Gothic-style pulpit among other historic elements. The churchyard is now being developed into a community garden, adding to its community value. Located just 55 minutes from our funeral home, Saint Anne’s offers a historical and serene setting for memorial services. May be Closed temporarily!
