Family and friends remember Jim as a true gentleman who brought warmth, kindness, and joy to everyone around him. He was a devoted husband to Pauline and a loving father to Bernadette and Mary. His grandchildren, who adored him, will forever miss his presence, wisdom, and the special moments they shared. Jim’s siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family will also remember him fondly for his compassionate nature and gentle spirit.
Throughout his life, Jim was a dedicated member of the Tramore and Waterford communities. His work as a Master Cutter in Waterford Crystal reflected his remarkable skill and precision, while his involvement in refereeing and love for football, particularly with Tramore AFC, demonstrated his passion for the sport and his commitment to his local community. He was known for his quiet strength, and his ability to offer a kind word or a helping hand whenever it was needed. Jim was a familiar face at local events, always eager to engage with those around him, spreading warmth and positivity wherever he went.
Jim’s kindness extended to all who crossed his path, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. His passing is deeply felt, but his legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and community will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
