Elizabeth (Betty) Reynolds (née Meade) will be fondly remembered as a kind and gentle soul whose warmth touched everyone she encountered. From the heartfelt tributes shared by her neighbours and friends, it is evident that Betty was cherished for her welcoming nature and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
Messages from loved ones reflect a life of generosity, community spirit, and a deep love for her family. Betty’s legacy is carried on through her children, grandchildren, and the many friends who were privileged to know her. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but also an enduring inspiration of compassion and kindness.
Late of Pine Grove, Tramore, Co. Waterford, formerly of Love Lane Tramore, Co. Waterford. Born in Dunleer, Co. Louth. Betty passed peacefully in Tramore Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family on Friday the 29th of November 2024 RIP.
Betty is predeceased by her beloved husband William, her sister Eleanor and her brother Paddy.
Betty will be sadly missed by her loving and heartbroken children Francis, Mary and Willie; her adoring grandchildren Conor, Liam, Patrick, Sophie and Kevin; her daughters-in-law Marianne and Margaret and her brother Tony (Melbourne). She will be forever missed by all her nieces and nephews all her relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many many friends.
The Reynolds family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in Tramore Nursing Home and CareChoice Dungarvan for the exceptional and loving care Betty received throughout her time in both homes.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Betty will be reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore X91TW21 on Saturday the 30th of November from 4pm to 6pm.

Betty’s Requiem Mass will take place on Sunday the 1st of December at 11am at The Church of The Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Immediately after Betty will be laid to rest in St. Declan’s Cemetery, Riverstown, Tramore. Anyone who wishes to take part in Betty’s Requiem Mass remotely please use the link here.
Betty’s Funeral cortege will walk from Lodges Corner/ Tramore Credit Union at approximately 10:40am (weather permitting) to arrive for her Requiem Mass at 11am.
