Family and friends remember Maureen as a kind-hearted, gracious woman who was deeply loved by all who knew her. She was described as a wonderful mother who created a strong bond with her family, and a lovely neighbour who left lasting impressions on her community. Friends fondly recall her kindness, organisational spirit, and the warmth she brought to every conversation. Many spoke of her as a caring presence, always ready with a smile and a listening ear. Her legacy of love and kindness will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Maureen’s family and friends shared heartfelt memories of her dedication and love for her children and grandchildren. She was remembered as a woman who brought people together, and her elegance and thoughtfulness left a mark on everyone she met. From being a cherished neighbour to being a loyal friend, Maureen’s ability to brighten lives with her presence was a recurring theme in the condolences. May she rest peacefully, forever remembered for the love and joy she brought to so many.

Late of Roselawn, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Maureen passed peacefully in Mooncoin Nursing Home on Tuesday the 24th of December 2024 RIP.

Predeceased by her husband Sean, her son Paidi, her 4 brothers and 2 sisters

Maureen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all her loving children Mairead, Aine, Eileen, Michael, Sean, Deirdre, Siobhan, Roisin, Orla, Nollaig and Fionnuala; all her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be forever missed by her sons and daughters in law . She will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Maureen will be reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Saturday the 28th of December from 4pm to 5:30pm.

Maureen’s funeral cortege will be leaving from her home in Roselawn at approximately 10:30 am and will then walk from Lodges Corner/Tramore Credit union to arrive for her Requiem Mass.

Maureen’s Requiem Mass will take place on Sunday the 29th of December, at 11am at The Church of The Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Immediately after Maureen will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. Anyone wishing to take part in Maureen’s Requiem Mass remotely please follow the link here.
