Family and friends remember Gabrielle “Gaye” Farrell as a kind, gentle, and caring woman whose greatest joy was her family. A loving wife to David and a devoted mother to John and Stephen, Gaye found immense happiness in her treasured grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle nature will forever remain in their hearts. Gaye’s dedication to her family and community earned her the respect and admiration of all who knew her.
Beyond her family life, Gaye was deeply rooted in her community, always offering a listening ear, quiet encouragement, or a helping hand. A true lady with a heart of gold, her warmth and kindness will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Gaye is now reunited with her beloved daughter, Jennifer, whose memory she cherished deeply.
Late of Moonloun, Tramore, Co Waterford and formerly of St. Otterans Terrace, Tramore. Gaye passed peacefully at home on Thursday the 13th of March RIP.
Predeceased by her beloved daughter Jennifer.
She will be deeply remembered by her heartbroken husband David; her loving sons John and Stephen; her daughter-in-law Gráinne; adoring and treasured grandchildren Sophia, Amelia, and Ava; her brothers John and Bill; and her sisters Patricia and Marian. She will be forever missed by her sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews, cousins and her many friends and kind neighbours.

Gaye will be reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Saturday the 15th of March from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Gaye’s Requiem Mass will take place on Sunday the 16th of March, at 1 pm at The Church of The Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Immediately after, Gaye will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery. Anyone wishing to take part in Gaye’s Requiem Mass remotely please follow the link here.
Gaye’s funeral cortège will walk from the family residence in Moonloun at approximately at 12:30 to arrive for her Requiem Mass at 1 pm.
