Family and friends remember Tony Fitzpatrick as a warm-hearted and ever-cheerful gentleman whose stories and laughter were as memorable as his craftsmanship at the cobbler’s shop in George’s Court. A proud Irishman through and through, he carried the spirit of Belfast with him to Tramore and shared it freely with all who crossed his path. Whether fixing a favourite pair of shoes, chatting about his beloved motorcycle adventures, or simply offering a smile, Tony’s presence was a constant source of kindness and good humour in the community.
Beyond his skill and wit, Tony’s greatest pride was his family. A devoted husband to Margaret and a proud father and grandfather, he celebrated every milestone, from children’s first steps to grandchildren’s achievements, with unwavering love and encouragement. His legacy lives on in the countless photos, stories, and fond memories that now form a tapestry of joy and connection. You’re invited to visit RIP Ireland to share your own photos, messages, or light a virtual candle in Tony’s honour, ensuring his generous spirit continues to shine in our hearts.
