Family and Friends Remember William (Bill) Spencer as a man of quiet strength and kind generosity. A devoted partner to Renata, and a loving father to Lara, Arminas, Alannah, Victoria and Ethan, Bill’s world revolved around his family. Though he passed peacefully while in Lithuania, his heart was always at home in Ballinamona, Tramore, and in the places that helped shape him. His brother Frank, sisters Elaine, Michelle, and Elizabeth, along with his nieces, nephews and extended family, now carry the sorrow of his loss and celebrate his life with amazing memories.
In the days since his passing, messages have poured in from across the country and beyond, neighbours, friends, classmates, cousins, and colleagues, all sharing their memories of Bill. Former schoolmates from CBS Tramore remembered a “true gentleman,” while others spoke of his warmth, his helpful nature, and his ability to change lives with quiet gestures. “Bill helped others and changed lives,” one tribute read. Another message, from the Fossett family, recalled his loyalty and friendship through the years. Though his cremation will be private, Bill’s celebration of life will be open to all, fitting for a man who gave so much of himself, and who will be remembered with great affection by all who knew him.
