Family and friends remember Carol Murphy as a gentle, warm-hearted woman whose kindness stayed with people long after they met her. Late of Beech Park, Tramore and formerly of Butlerstown, Carol was deeply loved by her son Trevor and fondly remembered by the Murphy and Melvey families, neighbours, friends and all who shared in her life. One message recalled working with Carol in Harvey Printers many years ago and remembered her as “a lovely person,” while another described her as “such a lovely kind warm person.” Others spoke of Carol as “a lovely lady” and sent prayers that her “gentle soul rest in peace,” words that reflect the quiet goodness and warmth she carried through life.
Carol’s passing brings great sadness, but also the tender thought that she is now reunited with her beloved Tommy, just one year after his death. One tribute captured this beautifully, saying, “United with Tommy again … just one year later,” while another remembered that “she was a lady” and spoke of how good both Carol and Tommy had been to their family. Those memories show a woman remembered with affection, gratitude and respect, not only for who she was, but for the kindness she shared with others. May Trevor and all Carol’s family find comfort in the love that surrounded her, the memories she leaves behind, and the peaceful hope that she now rests again beside Tommy.
