St. Cuan and Broghán Church in Clonea, a Roman Catholic Church built in 1860, is a fine example of Gothic Revival architecture. The church features a double-height nave, lean-to side aisles, a two-storey sacristy, and a single-storey chapel. Characteristic elements include limestone walls with buttresses, pitched slate roofs with clay ridge tiles, and ornate pointed-arch windows filled with stained glass. The interior boasts carved timber pews, a timber-paneled gallery, and a decorative marble reredos. Nestled in its own grounds which include a historic graveyard, the church is located 39 minutes from our funeral home, offering a solemn and architecturally rich environment for memorial services.
