About the Church

St. Mary’s Church, a Roman Catholic Church in Ballysaggart, County Waterford, was founded with a cornerstone blessed by Bishop Richard Alphonsus Sheehan on March 25, 1913, and solemnly blessed upon completion on September 13, 1914. This church also features a grotto, built to commemorate the Marian Year in 1954, and was blessed by Bishop Daniel Coholan in 1955. Located 1hr 7 minutes from our funeral home, St. Mary’s offers a historically rich and spiritually nurturing setting for memorial services.

I never knew exactly what undertakers did until my dad died recently and I met Erich and his team. Erich was calm, compassionate and so helpful. He was amazing.
