Family and friends remember Agnes Dunne as a deeply caring woman whose life was defined by love, generosity and faith. Late of Beech Park in Tramore, Agnes created a home that offered warmth, comfort and belonging to those she loved. Predeceased by her beloved parents David and Agnes and her brother John, she remained the centre of a large and devoted family. Her husband Michael and her children Jennifer, Hazel, John, Mickey and Chris were at the heart of her life, and she took immense pride in her grandchildren Justin, Katelyn and Maisie, her great-granddaughter Maya, and her foster son John. Those who knew Agnes speak of a woman whose kindness and quiet faith guided her life, someone who gave freely of herself and whose compassion left a lasting mark on all around her.
The many tributes shared in Agnes’s memory reflect the deep affection and respect she inspired. One message described her as “a very kind and caring Lady and her generosity knew no bounds.” Another remembered her as “a lovely kind lady who had a big heart.” Others spoke of her warm nature, recalling that she was “always cheerful and very nice to know and talk to.” One of the most moving tributes said, “You didn’t just open your heart to one, you made a family out of many.” And in words that capture the feeling of many, she was remembered as “one of life’s good people.” Through these memories Agnes will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew her, a woman whose compassion, faith and devotion to family created a legacy that will live on in the family she nurtured and the lives she touched.
