Family and friends remember Angela Ryan as a kind, gentle and thoughtful woman whose warmth was felt by those around her. Late of Hillsbrook House, Kilmeaden, Angela was Declan’s beloved wife, a much-loved Mam to Catherine and Brendan, and an adored Grandmother to Adam, Mya and Mollie. Those who knew Angela spoke often of her kindness, her gentle nature and the pleasure of meeting her for a chat. She was also remembered as a hardworking woman, with friends recalling her on the family dairy farm in Kilmeaden and others remembering conversations with her in the co-op and over the years in the salon.
Angela’s life was also deeply rooted in family, friendship and the communities she knew over many years. Old friends remembered going to school with her in Portlaw and growing up with her in Ballyduff, while others spoke of happy memories from choir nights out in Fenor. One of the most personal tributes came from her family, who remembered Angela as a wonderful aunt who never forgot a birthday, anniversary or an important milestone in the lives of those she loved. Predeceased by her parents William and Mary Bosanquet, Angela will be lovingly remembered by Declan, Catherine, Brendan, Michelle, Adam, Mya, Mollie and her wider family and friends. May they find comfort in the memories of her kindness, her hard work, her chats, her thoughtfulness and the care she showed so naturally throughout her life.
