Family and friends remember Billy Bolster as a visionary entrepreneur whose leadership and integrity built The Bolster Group into a cornerstone of the local economy. As a “great business head” who treated every project with care and attention, he earned the respect of colleagues, clients, and competitors alike. Yet despite his success, Billy remained delightfully down-to-earth—a friendly neighbour always ready with a wave and a warm greeting as he strolled Elm Park. His steady presence at community events and his generous support for local causes spoke to a man whose achievements were matched only by his commitment to those around him.
At home, Billy was the heart of his family. A devoted husband to Bridget and a loving father to William and Edel, he delighted in every moment with his adoring grandchildren Alexandra, Ross, Freya, and Devin. Friends and family alike will cherish memories of his gentle humour, his patient guidance through life’s challenges, and the quiet way he lifted spirits with a timely word of encouragement. A true gentleman in every sense, Billy’s kindness, resilience, and unwavering support leave a legacy that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
