Family and friends remember Billy Walsh as a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering kindness. He was a patient and encouraging driving instructor, remembered for guiding many, including those learning later in life, with calm reassurance. Billy’s gentle nature and ready smile left a lasting impression on all who met him, whether through his work, his involvement in the community, or his cherished role as a Eucharistic Minister. His devotion to his family was evident, and his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.
Billy’s passing has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew him. He was a true gentleman, whose warmth and sincerity touched many hearts. His legacy of compassion, humility, and faith will continue to inspire and guide his loved ones. As we remember Billy, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man deeply loved.
Late of Elm Park, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Formerly of Pearse Park Waterford City. Billy passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday the 11th of April 2025. RIP.
Predeceased by his beloved parents Billy and Nancy and his brothers Paddy and Jemmy.
Billy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Mary his daughters Muriel, Evelyn, Jeanette, Lorraine and Rowena, his adoring grandchildren Niamh, Emily, Natalie, Naoise, Ashton, Grace, Charlotte, Evie and Neil; his sister Ann and his sons-in-law. Billy will be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews, relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many friends.
The Walsh family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in University Hospital Waterford for the exceptional care and kindness Billy received throughout his short illness.

Billy will be reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Sunday the 13th of April from 4pm to 6pm.

Billy’s Requiem Mass will take place on Monday the 14th of April, at 10am at The Church of The Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Immediately after Billy will be laid to rest in St Declan’s Cemetery, Tramore. Anyone wishing to take part in Billy’s Requiem Mass remotely please follow the link here.
Billy’s Funeral Cortege will pass his residence at approximately 9am.
As per Billy’s wishes he will arrive to the Church privately for special Rosary Service at 9:15am. His Requiem Mass will start at 10am.
