Family and friends remember Christopher Connolly as a gentle, kind-hearted man whose presence brought warmth and ease to those around him. Born and raised in Tramore, later living on Market Street after growing up in Moonloun, Chris was deeply rooted in his community and quietly cherished the simple connections of everyday life. He was a devoted brother to Noel, Patricia and Suzanne, a much-loved uncle, and a constant source of affection and familiarity within his wider family. Known for his friendly smile, his openness, and his natural way with people, Chris had a gift for making others feel seen and welcome, whether through a brief chat, a shared memory, or a simple gesture of kindness. Those who knew him speak of a man who lived gently, cared deeply, and left a lasting impression through sincerity rather than noise.
The love felt for Chris is echoed in the words shared in his memory. “A gentle soul with a big heart, thinking of all Chris’s family at this very sad time.” Another tribute reflects, “He always had a hello and a smile whenever you met him.” One message simply says, “A really good person to know, always kind and always genuine.” And another captures how many remember him: “Such a lovely man, taken far too soon, he will be missed by everyone who knew him.” Through these shared memories and quiet tributes, Chris’s life is remembered for the goodness he gave, the friendships he valued, and the kindness that will continue to live on in those who loved him.
