Family and Friends Remember Eddie O’Sullivan as a kind and gentle man, who passed away peacefully in the place he called home, Kennedy Park. He is remembered with love by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. To all those closest to him, Eddie’s presence was a steady and caring one. The O’Sullivan family have also expressed their sincere gratitude to The Simon Community for the exceptional support Eddie received throughout his residency, a kindness they will never forget.
In recent hours, messages have been shared by childhood friends and neighbours who knew Eddie growing up in Kennedy Park. One neighbour recalled, “where we all grew up” a simple line that speaks to years of shared lives and local connection. Others offered quiet words of sympathy and prayers. And among the most moving was a message on RIP Ireland from his sister Sharon: “We have been parted, but through love, I will see you on your journey to peace.” Eddie’s gentle soul will be dearly missed, and warmly remembered, by all who knew him.
