Family and friends remember Ena Bell as a gentle, graceful woman whose kindness, warmth and unwavering presence brought calm and care to every room she entered. Raised in Ballinruan, Co. Clare, and known in her early years in Marian Park and later Tramore, Ena’s life was one of quiet strength and compassion. Whether walking the shores of Boatstrand, enjoying bridge, or simply sharing a cup of tea and chatting with neighbours, she had a way of making people feel seen and heard. Her career with Harvey Printers and time at ACEC left a lasting impression, remembered fondly by colleagues for her patience, precision and genuine good nature. To her devoted husband, Leonard, Ena was not only a life partner but also a best friend. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter and deep respect. Ena was admired for her grace and generosity, always ready with a kind word, a soft smile, and an open heart.
As news of her passing spread, the tributes were a testament to the legacy she leaves behind. “She was such a lovely, gentle lady, with the most beautiful smile.” “We have lovely memories of Ena walking us to school as children, her endless patience stayed with us.” “A beautiful woman and always a pleasure to see her come into the shop.” “She was a great neighbour and a truly kind soul.” “Ena always had time for a chat when we met, she will be missed.” For all who knew her, Ena’s presence was steady and sincere, and her passing leaves a quiet ache in the hearts of many. Her loved ones take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with those gone before her, and her memory will forever remain a light in the lives she touched. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
