Family and friends remember Luke Power as a devoted husband and proud father, and grandfather whose warmth and laughter lit up every corner of his world. A man of Tramore through and through, yet rooted in the proud tradition of Waterford Crystal and Danone, Luke brought skill, dignity and heart to everything he did. Colleagues recall his leadership, his fairness, and his good humour through the years. One friend said, “He helped me get my apprenticeship over 25 years ago. I always appreciated what he did for me.” Alongside his beloved wife, Evelyne, and with his sons David, Luke, and Mark, and his cherished grandchildren Jacob, Martha, Noah, Evelyne, Iarla, and Juliet, Luke built a home full of love, laughter, and loyalty.
His life was more than work and family; it was marked by generosity, respect, and integrity. Many colleagues described him as “a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with,” while neighbours remember the friendly chats by the road and his ever‑ready smile. Whether at the workplace, on the walk home, or watching the lads grow, Luke lived as he worked: steadily, kindly, and with purpose. His memory will remain in every shared story, every gesture of help he offered, and every home where he left his mark. May his gentle soul rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the lifelong legacy of love he leaves behind.
