Family and friends remember Margaret Fitzpatrick as a true lady, kind, warm, and full of gentle grace. Born in Belfast and later rooted in Tramore Heights, Margaret was the heart of a close-knit family and a quiet but cherished presence in her community. Alongside her late husband, Tony, she built a home full of warmth and welcome, raising a family grounded in love and resilience. To her children Kevin, Tony, Suzanne, and Paul, and to the generations that followed, she offered love and encouragement. Whether chatting over tea or simply being present when needed, Margaret’s gentle humour and quiet strength touched everyone she met.
She was adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, remembered not only for her affection but for the calm joy she brought into daily life. Even in the face of sorrow, especially after the loss of her beloved granddaughter Amenah, Margaret carried herself with dignity and grace. As one neighbour said, “She was a lovely gentle person. The bed of Heaven to her.” Another recalled fondly, “She had such a lovely way about her.” Her memory lives on in every warm story told, every kind gesture passed on in her name, and in the hearts of her family. Now reunited with Tony and Amenah, may Margaret’s gentle soul rest peacefully.
