Family and friends remember Margaret as a kind and gentle soul, whose warmth and care touched all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in her children Sharon, Thomas, Denice, and Ciara, and her adoring grandchildren, who fondly recall her love and support. Margaret’s kindness extended to her neighbors and friends, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family and community, especially following so soon after her beloved husband, Thomas. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered with love and respect.
Late of Thorndale, Old Crobally Road, Tramore, Co. Waterford, formerly of Fenor, Co. Waterford. Margaret passed peacefully at University Hospital Waterford surrounded by her loving family on Monday the 25th of November 2024 RIP.
Margaret is predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas, her parents Dick and Margaret and her sister Ann.
Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving and heartbroken children Sharon, Thomas, Denice and Ciara; her adoring grandchildren Matthew, Niall, Erin, Amy, Oisín, Ríoghan, Holly, Fionn, Lydia and also Stephanie and Kevin; her sons-in-law Richie, Seán, John-Paul and her daughter-in-law Kay; her sister Josie and her brothers Dan and Thomas. She will be forever missed by all her nieces and nephews all her relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many many friends.
The Lodge family would like to thank with great appreciation Dr Mcloughlin and his team, her GP Dr O’Leary and all the wonderful staff in The ICU and HDU and all the staff in the Cedar Ward for the exceptional and loving care Margaret received throughout her illness.

Margaret will be reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore X91TW21 on Wednesday the 27th of November from 5pm to 7pm.

Margaret’s Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday the 28th of November at 10am at the Church of the Holy Cross Tramore, Co. Waterford, Margaret will be laid to rest immediately after in Fenor Cemetery. Anyone wishing to take part in Margaret’s Requiem Mass remotely please follow the link here.
Margaret’s Funeral cortege will walk from Lodges Corner/ Tramore Credit Union at approximately 09:40am (weather permitting) to arrive for her Requiem Mass at 10am.
