Family and Friends Remember Michael O’Sullivan as the kind of man whose presence spoke louder than words, a gentle soul, devoted husband, treasured father, and deeply adored grandfather. His love for Lillian, Nicholas, Fiona, Heather, and Rebecca was the constant thread in his life. Whether walking the roads of Tramore with his grandchildren and the family dog, or lending a quiet hand to a neighbour in need, Michael lived with care, humility, and deep purpose. “He was the kindest and most gentle of men, a pure soul,” one tribute said. Another wrote simply, “A friendly neighbour, always there in time of need.”
Michael’s work life reflected the same spirit. He was remembered by colleagues from GSK, Eirgen, and Haleon not just for his extraordinary skill, but for the way he uplifted others. “A fountain of knowledge,” one said. “He helped without fuss, with calm assurance.” Across dozens of messages, the same truth echoed: Michael made people feel seen, supported, and respected. To his parents, Michael and Mary, his sisters Margaret and Clare, and all who loved him, his life was a life of quiet dignity and unshakeable love. And now, as many said with aching hearts, may he rest in peace beside his beloved brother Declan, knowing how very deeply he was cherished.
