His dedication to his work, love of sport, and devotion to his family made him a cherished part of many lives.
To Paul’s beloved partner Maria, his brothers, sisters, and extended family—know that Paul’s kindness and character left an indelible mark on everyone he met. He was not just admired; he was deeply loved. His colleagues in Waterford City & County Council recall his ever-present smile and helpful nature, while his cycling companions celebrated his passion and camaraderie. For his family, he was a rock—someone whose love, loyalty, and warmth will forever remain a source of comfort. Late of Powerscourt, Waterford City and formerly of Leamy Street, Waterford. Paul passed unexpectedly at home on Monday the 30th of December 2024 RIP.
Predeceased by both of his parents and his sister, Ann. Paul will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken partner, Maria. His brothers Billy and Pat and sisters Mary and Carol. He will be sadly missed by his sisters in law, Rose and Pat and his brother in law, Maurice. He will be remembered always by all his nieces and nephews and all of the Roche family. He will be forever missed by all his extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many many friends.

A celebration of Paul’s life will take place in Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore on Sunday the 5th of January at 2pm until approximately 2:40pm. At the conclusion of the service the funeral home will remain open for Paul’s friends and acquaintances to pay their respects to his family until 5pm
All are welcome
Refreshments will be served throughout the reposal. As per Paul’s wishes, a private cremation will take place at a later date.
