Family and friends remember Raymond Veighey as a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and family man whose life was rooted in Knockanpaddin, Dunmore East, and in the love of those closest to him. Raymond was deeply cherished by Margaret, Andrea, Gillian, his granddaughters Lily and Sophie, his sons-in-law Niall and Clive, his brothers Nevil, Merrick and Dermot, and the wider family circle who now feel his loss so deeply. Late of Knockanpaddin, Dunmore East, Co. Waterford. Raymond passed peacefully with his loving family at his side after a very short illness at University Hospital Waterford, on Friday the 17th of July 2026.
Predeceased by his baby daughter Louise; his beloved parents Violet and Samuel and his sisters Hazel and Valerie.
Raymond will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret; his daughters Andrea and Gillian; his adoring granddaughters Lily and Sophie; his sons-in-law Niall and Clive and his brothers Nevil, Merrick and Dermot.
Raymond will always be remembered by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, by all his nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

Raymond’s reposal will take place in Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore X91TW21 on Sunday the 19th of July from 2pm to 4pm.

A Celebration of Raymond’s life will take place in Falconers Funeral home, Riverstown, Tramore X91TW21 on Monday from 12 noon to approximately 12:45pm after which Raymond will be laid to rest in Carbally Cemetery at approximately 1:30pm.
