Remembering the life of

Raymond Veighey

Knockanpaddin, Dunmore East, Waterford

Family and friends remember Raymond Veighey as a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and family man whose life was rooted in Knockanpaddin, Dunmore East, and in the love of those closest to him. Raymond was deeply cherished by Margaret, Andrea, Gillian, his granddaughters Lily and Sophie, his sons-in-law Niall and Clive, his brothers Nevil, Merrick and Dermot, and the wider family circle who now feel his loss so deeply. Words that reflect the dignity, love and quiet respect with which Raymond is remembered.

The messages shared for Raymond carry great tenderness for Margaret, Andrea, Gillian and all who mourn him. Friends and neighbours spoke of keeping the family in their thoughts and prayers, with one message saying, “Our thoughts are with you all at this lonely time,” and another offering comfort “at this sad and lonely time.” These words show the care surrounding Raymond’s family now, and the affection held for him by those who knew him. May Margaret, Andrea, Gillian and all the Veighey family find comfort in the memories they shared, the support around them, and the peace Raymond now rests in after a life well lived.
