Family and friends remember Stuart Roche as a kind, loyal and endlessly good-humoured man whose sudden passing on 30 September 2025 has left a deep silence in the lives of so many who loved him. A proud husband to Liz and adoring father to Taylor, Jude and Freya, Stuart’s gentle presence, sense of humour and deep love for his family shaped every room he entered. He was someone who carried himself with quiet strength, the kind of person whose calm words and warm smile could lift your day. In work, on the golf course, walking the dogs, or sharing a laugh with neighbours and friends, Stuart was always a pleasure to be around.
The messages shared about him reflect the man he truly was. “Stuart, what a pleasure to have been friends with you… a winning smile and plenty of banter.” Another reads, “Stu, what a gentleman you were. How much you and Liz loved each other was so beautiful to witness.” From his colleagues, “He was so much more than a lead of our team, a mentor, support and friend.” And from a close friend, “Sleep well. Swing those clubs hard in heaven.” Stuart’s RIP Ireland wall will now become a memorial space for anyone wishing to upload photos, share stories and continue celebrating his life with the love, humour and warmth he brought to so many.
