Family and friends remember Thomas as a man of great warmth, always quick with a smile and known for his gentle and caring nature. He was a devoted husband to Margaret and a loving father to Sharon, Thomas, Denice, and Ciara. His grandchildren, who were the light of his life, will forever treasure their memories of him. Whether it was his love for family gatherings or the wisdom he shared, Thomas was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Thomas was well-known in the Waterford community, particularly through his years at Waterford Crystal. His legacy of hard work, friendship, and humour has left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His dedication to his work was matched by his deep love for his family and friends, and the countless lives he touched through his kindness.

Thomas passed peacefully at University Hospital Waterford surrounded by his loving family on Saturday the 21st of September 2024 RIP.
Thomas is predeceased by his beloved parents May and Thomas and his sister Pat.
Thomas will be sadly missed by his loving and heartbroken wife Margaret, his loving children Sharon, Thomas, Denice and Ciara; his adoring grandchildren Matthew, Niall, Erin, Amy, Oisín, Ríoghan, Holly, Fionn, Lydia and also Stephanie and Kevin; his sons-in-law Richie, Seán, John-Paul and his daughter-in-law Kay; his sister Bernie, his brother Anthony and his sister-in-law Mary. He will be forever missed by all his nieces and nephews all his relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many many friends.
The Lodge family would like to thank with great appreciation Dr Calvert and her team and all the wonderful staff in The Oak Ward and all the Paramedics and A&E staff for the exceptional and loving care Thomas received throughout his illness.

Thomas will be reposing at Falconer’s Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford, on Tuesday, the 24th of September, from 5pm to 7pm.

Thomas’s Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, the 25th of September, at 10am at The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Immediately after Thomas will be laid to rest in Fenor Cemetery. For those who wish to take part in Thomas Requiem Mass remotely, please follow the link here.
Thomas’s Funeral cortege will walk from Lodges Corner/ Tramore Credit Union at approximately 09:40am (weather permitting) to arrive for his Requiem Mass at 10am.
